Daydreamer

0 0

Daydreamer, he is
Sitting in the corner of the field
Looking somewhere
He is sitting somewhere
But his mind is,
Elsewhere
Even he doesn’t know where

Scenes flashing in his mind
One after the other
Trees filled nature
Water filled seas
Even the star-filled space
Had encountered in his mind

Memories of the past
The expectation of the future
Even the things that occurred today
Was going through his head
Like a movie played
Right before his eyes

He thought of almost everyone
The people who were with him
And those who were not
Those who stood up for him
And the people who left him
And some others too,
Had crossed his mind

He didn’t know what he was thinking
Nor why
He was in a different reality
Made up in his mind
Where his past, present and future
Was one and the same

Place where his mind takes him
And his heart does follow
He was in a deep trance
With no knowledge of around
He is truly is,
A night overthinker
And a daydreamer
