Happy, but Lonely

0 0

Everybody in this wonderful world
Walks around with a happy face
There are so many smiles unfurled
That brightens and is full of grace

Every man is born with happy sound
So that he can cherish it with joy
Laughing and singing all around
And cherishing it and also enjoy

But is this world a happy place
That every one of us thinks it is
Without any problem that to face
And live as happy as it’s truly is

No, it’s not true, we are not happy
Where there is joy there is, thus
Bound to be sorrow and unhappy
That is following right behind us

Even I am happy as I can be really
Not always, just sometimes, and ask
When I am, I laugh and smile freely
When I’m not, I wear a smiling mask

It’s not because that I can’t cry
But because I can’t even bear
To see my loved ones cry
Seeing my pain that reappear

Even a happy one is really lonely
And a lonely one is truly happy, thus
Cause happiness can come only
When there is light inside each of us

See people with heart, not with eyes
Cause eyes can’t see and believe
Cause it has a veil in front of it lies
But not our heart for it can perceive

Try to understand people for a while
Whether they are happy or not
Cause a person can give a fake smile
But our heart, it truly cannot
