We Too Belong Here

Look, Human, Look around at all this
This is all your doing, all your fault
You brought this among us, this amiss
Among us all and on you, this assault

I have seen everywhere, the world around
I too have gone through many crises
But everything that I’ve ever faced and found
Is nothing, to what you create and rises

I heard stories from my forefathers
Yes, we too have our languages and chant
I heard that all this was green like all others
Like a wonderland that’s so beguile and enchant

But now, look around, all of you, all this cloy
Where is all the green, that I heard so factual
Show me something that you won’t destroy
Rather than your own creation, and not natural

Yeah, who am I to ask you this obligation
I am just a small green coloured bird
Whereas you are God’s best creation
Created to rule us all, under your word

Yes, all we birds, animals, and trees are inferior
Are below you humans, because great, that’s you
But please don’t think that you’re much superior
We too have the right to live here, just as you do

This was once a greenish brown ground
Filled with beings that were all truly one soul
But now, wherever I look around
All I see is cement, bricks and iron pole

But what can we do? Who are we to ask?
We are just slaves to you, bloodthirsty blisters
As you hunt and destroy, as one of your evil task
Think that, we too are your brothers and sisters

And now, I take my leave and it’s my time to go
Away from this world and to be with god’s blessin’
You created this heat, and all these disasters, I know
But now, I leave and fly around freely in heaven
