Lone Wolf

0 0

Dark night, cloudy skies
With the big white moon
Higher in the sky, it shall rise
Shining forth, this dark lagoon

I walk alone, in places unknown
Lights out in these dark places
Wherever I go, I go on my own
I go on without leaving traces

I brought my guitar, a gift
I got from my friend, Paul
Skies filled with stars adrift
Cause music can heal it all

Walked around, for so long
Places with stars and sea
Started humming a song
With no one else, but me

I saw a light, in the air, it hang
In the darkness, it was new
And so I ran and sprang
Just as a beast would do

There I reached the top
There I stood, watching forth
The lagoon, with nothing to stop
Even the mighty sea of the Earth

We too must reach the top
Soaring high above all, we flew
There is no one here to stop
The things that we love to do

But itโ€™s better to be alone
Than rely on those who don’t care
The life you live is your own
Just like a lone wolf, we are
