Life Matters

Why do we shut our eyes
To problems faced by our kind?
Why do we say so many lies
To lock something in our mind?

How can you sleep
When everyone else is crying?
Our heart is not deep
To the people who are dying

How cruel that the people are fighting
I can see the groaning eyes in them
Searching for life which is freezing
They, terrorist are crawling behind them

How cruel that nobody is looking
To the helplessness of these people
Why can’t you act other than just saying?
And help the poor ones as an equal

God gave us life, for us to cherish
Only he has the power to take, not man
So stop the fighting and live as His wish
Cause life matters to every man and woman
