Last Breath

0 0

The air is thin, thinner than before
Making me choke, all that’s left
The air inside is never enough
To sustain my life a little longer

My life’s coming to a close
The end of my chapter is nearly here
I’m blessed to have lived this much
Happy for all that I have ever received

If this is my last breath
I just want God to take me
Above in heaven or down in hell
According to all my done deeds

Thank you for a beautiful family
I couldn’t have asked for more
Thank you for all that you gave
Making my life feel so mesmerized

If this is my last breath
I want to tell you I’m ready
To leave this world, all experienced
And start a fresh new journey
