Thaw love, a more serene sensation
Fills the heart, with desire and affection
United by first sight, bounded by a kiss
Forever signed by a deep solemn vow
But never is love, only an emotional bond
A promise it is, to stay by each other’s side
To connect soulfully, a blissful tenderness
Warmth filled with thousand starlight blazes
True love is found seldom, not everywhere
It’s found within who had bonded for long
And there’s none more connected ever
Than all the people we young call old
Old they are, it is true as the clear blue sky
But only in age, but not in wisdom
They’re wise people with a tender heart
As they have tasted the actual flavour of love
They exhibited that love is pure and universal
Like calm water, so still and reflects the joy
Obstacles occur, distort the calmness within
But fondness will come back, still and composed
Haven’t you witness the smile they share
So peaceful and devoted, a true euphoria
The laugh they laugh, the jokes they play
And helps together, as one, they stay
Like Shakespeare said, in his great phrase
This stage is mere second childishness
And as though we all seek, to go back young
Why go back, when the future is the same
People may say, categorize them as old
But the truth shall speak, that old is gold
They’ve surpassed us all, in soul and heart
As in love, they’ve shown us that’s real
The accomplishment in love, is never made by
Marrying the one, we had sought for long
But is staying in love, till the very conclusion of life
And that love for always, will be truly magical
