Lone Wolf – Day 8

0 0

An epic day had arrived. I never thought that today had an awesome experience waiting for me. Everything was normal in the morning. Without any high expectation, I woke up, as a little seed seeing first light. My mind was so energetic and lively that I wanted to go out that instant. But that was not possible because my mother won’t allow and my tired and sleepy body agrees with my mom.

I got up and sat on the bed for a moment. I wondered the places that I would go for today. Many places jumbled in my mind. Every place had its own beauty and calmness that it was hard to spot out one place from all these places.

“Ok! I’ll decide that, later.”

I did the morning chores and sat fresh in the living room. I opened up my mobile phone and listened to some of my songs. I was on the verge of creating an equalizer video for one of my songs when I thought of something.

“Yes! That’s it. I’ll go to Cherai today.”

I made up my mind for that day and continued my work. I had to complete my works before I embark on my journey. The video was almost over when my mother called and gave me some works to do, and there goes the time that I had to go to Cherai. I had to go with my mother to some shops, buy some commodities and go to one of her friend’s house. I used to go on my mother’s scooter, so I had no other choice rather than to heed to what she said. I waited impatiently to reach back home so that I could go out. But their talk was going on and on and on that, I started to feel restless. I waited for some time and at last, by heaven’s call, it ended and we came back home.

I was about to go out when she said to first eat lunch before going out and so I had more time to wait. Time was ticking so fast, that I wondered whether or not I would be able to go out for that day. I got more chores than I could complete. I still had to complete that video and upload it to YouTube before I go out and that work was still pending.

And there I sat, in front of my laptop, creating and rendering my music video and reediting it. It was a time consuming work, but I completed it. The joy of completion was soon at my taste. I took no time’s notice to upload it and at last, all my work was completed.

I dressed up quickly before I get any more job and I told my mother that I’m going out and I rode off. I rode off to Cherai.

I reached there and parked the scooter and walked on the beaches of Cherai. A sight still experienced in awe as the blue waters wash away the sandy beaches. As the water rises up only to fall back down, as foam spread across clinging on to the sand and disappearing without any trace. But as any person who comes there for a peace of mind; only noise was received and the crowds made sure of that. Everyone had accumulated themselves in the shores dressed in bathing clothes and playing and swimming in the waters before me.

That place didn’t give the peacefulness that I hoped I would get. I knew that this place is crowded, but for that day, it was moreover than I thought. All these crowded paths gave me trouble and I was not at all enjoying it.

So, I walked; walked on the other side of the beach where I was sure that the crowds would soon decrease. I walked through all these people having a great time, whereas I was not. What I really wanted was to be in a place with calmness filled altogether, and a beach would surely be a dumb choice, but I hoped that I would soon transcend from these crowds to someplace quieter. And so I walked on.

And at places, trees on both sides with its bloomed flowers were a sight for my sore eyes. It made me happy for taking up this journey and made it more beautiful. The brown sands with mixed black gravels along with the people’s footstep reminded me of the joy and happiness and the memories that people found at this place. The bluish-grey water has risen above the horizon and colliding with the surface to form a whitish foam. I looked at the waves and so it crashing down to the surface. And surfacing clear to the ground as the white foam muzzled on the dry sand. The water surfaced over to the land giving sand and taking it back. The waves were high than regular, the water was cold. The sun was going down and so I should continue my journey.

The sun shone its orange hue along the clouds. And through those smoky clouds, the sun shone its light to the waters below. But the sun proved that no clouds can cover it up, it fought through the clouds to radiate the lights moreover to the sea. I stood there and looked closer to that ball of flame, seeing the illumination in the waters. As time passed by, the colourful hue began to occupy the sky full. I looked closer to see that heavenly object up so close. And at that moment, I thought the sun to be an orange coloured moon radiating light, being mighty to all. The water below reflected its light and was like a miracle was happening at that place. The water was moving along with the cool breath of the wind. Crows flew around looking for food.

I walked on seeing the beauties of nature. Walking through the sands was really hard as my legs went inside the sands on each path. I looked at the people, having fun with their families. Running around, standing and swimming in that saltwater sea. Joy filled their heart and mind. It was really a happy sight. It was so mesmerizing seeing all the happy faces there, the joys in their faces, the smiles of the young filled me with utter happiness inside. Even if I was alone, I never felt as though because smiles radiated everywhere towards me too and that was enough for me. I was in a state of tranquil, so full of calm and joy.

The evening was soon approaching and the waves were soon rising higher. I walked a long distance; still, I had not reached the end that I was approaching for. The crowd almost decreased and I was all alone, walking alone, with everything filling my soul and heart.

The night was on its way and I still had not reached my destination.  I walked on and on, but still, that place was far away. I wondered whether or not I should continue on my journey or not. But, with all hopes, I continued walking on. And after some more time, I reached there. My legs started to feel numb, but I tried. The will to reach there filled me with everything that I needed to reach my destination. It was a place filled with rocks depicting a boundary. There were beaches after that, and again rocks and so on it continued. I was filled with utmost happiness. I stood on top of the rocks as though I had conquered what I started out for. And so, darkness has fallen but I have reached the place. I looked to the sky to see the crescent moon shining forth, happy for me. I looked at the moon in the joy of successfully completing my journey.

I walked back to where I started. I knew that I had a long way back to go, but still I was happy. The beaches were almost abandoned as no soul was to be found. The beach was all alone just as me. The sound of the waters showering the beaches was heard so clearly. The roar of thunder announced the coming of rain.

“Oh! Great! Just, great!”

The sound of the waters along with the sounds of thunder and the flowing wind started to terrify me. It was as though the whispers of someone who was walking near me. I stood and looked back. There was no one to be found and so I walked on. Fear started deep in my heart. I was all alone, anything could happen and no one would ever know. The whispers started to grow and so did my fear. I turned on the flashlight on my phone and walked. The sound began to grow. The water was rising slowly and I thought that it would swallow me soon to the deep waters. It was all so silent, yet whispers continued to haunt me. I started to walk faster. It was hard to walk through the sands and trying to walk fast only made it harder. I couldn’t walk through the waters as the waves were higher. I walked along the beach, with the beach on one side and a forest on the other with whispers and terrifying sounds filling my ears and the thought of whether or not it will rain increased my fear. And so I walked, but…

“OMG!”

There they lay, street dogs, in front of me. There was about four of them and barked on my arrival. I was frightened with the thought whether they would run towards me. I stood still and slowly moved towards the side of the forest. I had no other choice than to cross the forest to the road on the other side.

And I walked through the road, straight to where I came from. Many stared at me for I was not from anywhere there, but I never took notice of that. My primary aim was to reach back because it was already late. I walked on, some more distance to go. I was all so tired that I was walking slow, yet trying to keep up with the pace. And so I reached the end. I was so relieved that I took the scooter and rode back home.
