I Remember a Time

0 0

I remember the time when we used to cruise inside and over those clouds, circled by cranes. But never have I ever wandered above on this weathered-out concrete dirt. I remember the time when our lands above were so luminous. But never have I ever seen that pale celestial sphere in the sky that shines out all the spookiness below. I remember the time when I teleported to your cosy cabin and then to the sky-fall in a second. Man! What a lifesaver that was. I never thought we have to travel this slow and that too, on the ground.

My emotions are bubbling inside, waiting to burst out into the open. To roam around like an adventurer in the books we adore.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ll swim in the deep waters like a sardine pack dancing in unison. We’ll hike those high mountain trails and go through paths never trampled on. We’ll climb on top of these tall green-bushes we have never seen in our lives and see whether our world is in the works.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now we know how our parents lived their lives. Now we’re back in time.
